Adrian has 25+ years’ IT management experience in diverse environments including telecommunications, government, retail, financial services, internet service provider, manufacturing, mining and logistics.

He is seasoned in all aspects of IT management with particular strengths in customer liaison, strategy, enterprise architecture, procurement, vendor alignment and program management.

With vast experience in dealing with the real pain and challenges in transforming IT services in a wide variety of industries, Adrian is a “client-side warrior” who has a proven track record of delivering tangible results.

He is highly experienced in negotiating with the software behemoths (Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, IBM, VMware, etc.) to create the best outcomes for ELS’s customers.

Adrian is commercially astute with a demonstrated ability to add value to the bottom line and build long lasting relationships with key business stakeholders and suppliers.

Miriam Redding

IBM licencing specialist

Miriam offers local expertise, having worked across A/NZ, specifically on IBM licensing and Software Asset Management (SAM) for more than a decade.

This expertise includes a wealth of knowledge about localised vendor behaviour and tactics involved in both audits and other contract negotiations.

Miriam has always had an interest in software licensing issues and her experience spans Microsoft, Citrix, Business Objects, and Adobe, as well as IBM. In 2005 she made licensing the focus of her work.

Since then she has worked specifically with IBM licensing, developing an awareness of the complex licensing models of many IBM products. She knows how best to deploy, monitor, and manage IBM assets.

Working closely with IBM for 12 years, Miriam has a clear understanding of how IBM operates and how to work with IBM to ensure the best outcome for her clients.

Miriam is certified in SAM by the International IT Asset Management association, ensuring best practice knowledge with a range of implementation strategies.

Wajma Amid

Senior Software Asset Management Consultant

Wajma has 14+ years of Experience in Business and IT with diversified expertise across key areas such as: Software Asset Management, Leadership, Service Management, Product management, Oracle Segregation of Duties Audit, Risk and Compliance, Stakeholder Management, Procurement to  Payment, Data Analysis, Scrum Master, Project management, Process improvement.

Wajma has implemented many projects to reduce cost, optimise assets, remove waste and set up standard processes and practices to assist with consistency, governance and control.

She possesses a Business degree with a Major in eCommerce and is passionate about customer experience and building strong relationships through collaboration.

Wajma has worked with internal and external parties including customers, product owners, scrum masters, general managers, vendors, consultants, auditors.

Wajma lives by identifying waste, reviewing and questioning existing processes and focusing on how to automate, improve and standardise.

Empathy and strong relationships with stakeholders have always been the winning factors for Wajma.

Ming He

SAP licencing specialist

Ming He is a SAP Professional with over 14 years experience in global SAP solution development and implementation projects.

His expertise is in SAP Cloud (SAP Business ByDesign and SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer) and SAP On Premises (SD, LE, CRM and EH&S) solutions.

In the recent 5 years, Ming was mainly working on SAP Cloud solutions.

Ming has worked in numerous SAP projects in Asia Pacific region (mainly Australia, China and Taiwan).

Ming migrated from China to Australia in 2008. He is a good facilitator, bringing together business, technology, the West and the East.

David Nixon

Oracle Licencing Specialist

David has worked in the IT industry for 25 years, with about 22 of those years specialising in Oracle technology.

David has a very strong technical background, with degrees in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering.

He initially worked as an Applications Developer and then as a senior Oracle DBA in businesses as diverse as defence, government, telecommunications and oil & gas.

He has worked primarily in Australia, but also in the UK, USA and Saudi Arabia.

David worked with Oracle licencing evaluation and negotiation at many of his workplaces. He now specialises in this field with Enterprise Licence Solutions.

David brings solid technical expertise to ELS with a deep understanding of the nuances of Oracle licencing and software audits.

Martin Cassidy

Senior Consultant

Martin has 35+ years IT and management experience in the retail, telecommunications, IT consultancy, outsourcing and government sectors.

 

He has vast experience in IT management, in particular, IT strategic planning, program/project management, procurement, vendor management and organisational change.

 

ELS clients can benefit from Martin’s experience in reviewing and negotiating hundreds of IT contracts with major IT suppliers. These include Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, VMware, IBM, AutoDesk and Bentley.

David Swann

Licencing Consultant

Dave has focused on Software Asset Management for the past 20 years. He’s worked as an asset manager in the banking industry, and at Flexera on their SAM platform.

Prior to this he managed and worked in IT support teams, leading to a strong desire to enable others success.

At Flexera Dave was responsible for the application and license (SKU) recognition libraries, along with the Purchase Use Rights library.

This focus created a strong understanding of licensing terms and conditions used by Adobe, IBM, Oracle, Microsoft and VMware.

He also managed the documentation, communication and release processes for Flexera’s SAM tools.

At ANZ, as well as Bendigo and Adelaide Bank, Dave managed the software and hardware asset management teams.

This developed a strong understanding of these roles’ challenges, from budgeting, vendor management, procurement to software identification, management and processes.

Peter Schmelitschek

Commercial Analyst

Peter has 45+ years technical experience in telecommunications and network cabling, including operational maintenance, design and installation project management.

A lifelong thirst for knowledge and understanding of how things work, has led to his progressive embracing of new technologies.

Peter has a diploma in Quality Auditing. His analytical skill and keen eye for detail, has resulted in many requests to improve quality systems, increasing customer satisfaction.

A self-confessed data junkie, Peter looks forward to unraveling the intricacies of software licencing.
